Today's lunch was awesome. Dad brought sisters and I for our usual famous nasi padang! the place's in this pretty traditional area near haji lane. Its really famous but I still shan't divulge the place in case it gets more crowded! muahaha. Well, i never took a photo of the food when we're there because I'm always too excited to tuck in! so this time i managed to stop everyone and snap one before we zoomed in. ok the shot doesn't do the food justice at all. the sambal..spicy spread.. delicious.
earlier in the week, mum, jie and i settled at Werner's for some authentic German food. Jie suggested ordering some German beer and do what the Germans do by clashing our mugs and all that. But she said I was underage -.-
jie's: Hackbraten (baked meatloaf w/ mixed veggies mashed potatoes)
mine: coarse pork sausage w/ sauerkraut & potato salad
Mum's: Knusperiege Schweinehaxe (crispy pork knuckle w/ sauerkraut & mashed potatoes)
Dessert: Rote Grutze Berry Sago w/ vanilla sauce
overall, it was really filling and i was practically staggering out of werner's. but we had to stop by the oven first. haha. their donuts are heavenly. it's different from the usual donuts. less fluffy. don't have a picture of them though. I had an apple donut and Jie had a banana donut.
ok well i realise my family has pretty weird conversations.

ok i'm lazy to blog bout the embarrassing experience i had today so i shall just quote huang's blog post :

I embarrassed Ida & I again.
Well okay what happened was, we were having break and were queuing for food. Then, we spotted gingerbread man.
Yes, gingerbread man. I am not kidding.
Anyhow, I was getting all excited because I told Ida, "I WANT a picture with gingerbread man!" And I think she thought I was kidding for a moment. Whatever possessed her to think I was kidding. :p
So yeah we bought our food, put it on the table and saw gingerbread man again. This time I was gonna go for it. I stood up, dragged Ida and tailed gingerbread man.
We were cutting through the crowded canteen from one end to the other to catch up. And then who do we see? Keith & Audrey's class. HAHAHA. I SWEAR, I AM NOT THE ONLY CHILDISH ONE!
We waitedpatiently for our turn and then I was like YAY! Hahahahaha.

ok on huang's pleading, i shall update. though this week seemed to have flown by so there doesn't seem to be much to blog about.
this week plus made me realise how much my friends are really there for me. it takes things like these for me to realise how important these people are to me. sad, but well least i realised. they always say they know i can take care of myself and i'm strong, but when things really seem to start falling apart, these people are still there to prop me up. i know they are (: without fail.
dee dee, (aka doubles partner)
sure we've known each other a long while now. we've been through lots together especially these two years and these two years would definitely not have been the same without you. sure we had our disagreements with the sorta personalities we both have. haha. but i know deep down its all ok. i could always rely on you to be there. especially lately. you have no clue how much all that u've done means to me, always being the sweetest asking how i am and dropping me chocolates and postcards to cheer me up. they always make me tear. times when i've been at my worst, you've been the first person i message or call and there's a reason why you are that (:. plus you've officially heard me at my worst. haha. plus hearing all my ranting and reassuring me, you're officially my lifetime friend (: . i know you haven't always agreed with my decisions, but you supported me regardless. plus everything we shared on the court.. you've been a real saviour. there's so much i could type, but i would write that to you personally dear. (: someone's big 18's comin and i honestly owe you so much more than i could possibly give. i'll be here should you need the same dee (:
and should there be anyone who believes in how strong i am, that'd be you. aussie trip!

its sunday already? man. sat practically flew by. ok maybe the night crawled by cos i couldn't wait for the dinner to end. well the week passed really fast.. maybe it's because i didn't attend school for 2 days. but well trust me it didnt feel good lying in bed in pain.
napfa was as expected. haha. well now i've gotta visit the pull up bars with huang every break so she's warned me to bring food from home! =O haha. but its alright la. if she gets better, which im sure she will, i can claim credit. -evil laugh-
have caught a few episodes of friends lately when i happen to flip to the channel and catch it.. to think i nearly forgot why this's my all-time favourite show! a pity it had to end.
prelims are coming soon, and so are the As. which means As are ending soon!! to be optimistic. haha.
